stoop is about inspiring the act of bending down to serve. it’s about questioning commonly held dogma and challenging a response. stoop is a contribution based magazine – we like stories, articles, anecdotes, letters, rants, art, music… anything that stirs a lethargic christian culture to action.
stoop is not a magazine for warm fuzzy christianese type exposes into tightly held theological beliefs. not that theology is bad. we just reckon there’s enough theology to argue about already. but, we will delve into prickly subjects that make us feel uncomfortable.
stoop is not liberal, labor, green, democrat, or any other political and/or denominational persuasion – a quote from Leslie Newbigin sums this up nicely: Hold to Christ, and to all else be uncommitted.
